The fine individual behind the Ripped From The Grave blog kindly asked my permission to share this high quality rip of the 1996 Choronzon demo 333. You’ll also find scans of the booklet the cassettes came with.

In this edition listeners get to hear these tracks as only those who had the original 1996 tapes have heard it. Hear Choronzon bringing the electronic invocations at a time when such experiments were extremely rare.
A Lord of Chaos, Choronzon (whose cabalistic number is 333), has been following me around for a while, ever since I summoned him forth, in the shadow state between dreams and waking. It’s disturbing when something from the land of Morpheus breaks through, and you get a tape from a local band that has named itself (coincidently, of course) after the very demon who has been wreaking havoc in your life. Choronzon (the band) is P. Emerson Williams, also of Veil of Thorns, and he obviously knows the occult arts. I’m assuming he’s a Thelemite, because one of the songs is called “Perdurabo”, a pseudonym of Aleister Crowley’s.
In any case, the music is HEAVY. thick, dark and raging. The songs are a caustic liquid, dripping from my speakers like rivers of fire, howling and shrieking in anger and torment. Drum beats loop on top of one another, twisting themselves into a rope that the music can climb on (although I’m looking forward to when Williams gets a live drummer(s), because for all the creative intricacies in the music, the rhythms are too mechanical at times).
Dense guitar crunch permeates the album, throwing a few technical metal riffs, and the vocals seem to have been ripped from the throat of 333 himself.
If you want to delve into the world of unconscious terror, or think that you’ve heard the deepest and heaviest metal has gotten, get this tape. But be prepared for little “accidents” to follow you around for a while.

The first burst from the west since 2006! And it’s about damned time.
This was an unusually driven piece made in 13 days (although some of the material used on it was done earlier) but it’s probably the best recording I’ve ever made. I had the help of three of my favourite Dislodge personae who appeared on this one: 1351, Eianorange and the Accuser all helped make this come alive, as did the xenodimensional help of CHORONZON, LAMASHTU and LILITH.
We have many additions to the decades long CHORONZON hypersigil coming together. Between the major edifices to be erected in 2013, we’ll be slipping out other sonic and visual manipulations in between.
I was set to be on an adventure most peripatetic for this month, but it turned out that the current had something else growing, something that revealed itself only when those who were moved to jump in with me came through with their parts of the vortextual effectuational aural spectacle released this week.
Getting ready for a string of shows had me retreating from the outer world with my guitar and, as always when I spend quality time with an instrument, the massive love for playing guitar of old was rekindled. Add to this the standup bass of Ferenc Teglas and BALEYYG wielding storms of demonic sonics, the Choronzonic Bacchanalia of glossolalia flow was not to be controlled.
There’s a wall to wall video treatment created for this as well, for those ready to receive a xenotransmission straight through the third eye is delivered.

The code of esoteric insight broken, freedom declared under cover of night and now the mind is transformed and chakras are open. This album is the Veil of Maya lifting as the inner being is revealed after many lifetime’s of journey through war and illusion.
Choronzon are opening up to yet another set of unexplored worlds on this, featuring electric standup bass, keys and percussion from Ferenc Teglas and the multiversal soundscapes of BALEYYG. “We gathered through astral projection to a pre-determined catacomb to generate the sounds by spectral means.” Says Choronzon chaote P. Emerson Williams on the process of creating ///Consummation//\Metanoia\. “Between the three of us we really tapped into multiple streams.” declares Ferenc Teglas. “I got to experience the 333 current as a whispering voice in the distance. This is a very unique album.” Says BALEYYG.

…What about the music on this album? It’s difficult to put it in any mould. Of course it’s black, but is it metal? It’s also industrial and ambiental, it has doomy elements and lot’s of electronics and noise, there is a lot of drone and sludge. Songs can’t be separated from this entirety because only as a whole it gives the right picture of what’s about. Anyway, take this album as a sinister and notorious journey through some of the most diabolical soundscapes ever recorded…
Choronzon have achived what is rare in the underground of today. With dusty and rough production, hypnotic vocal job and culminating atmospheres they deliver an outstanding ritualistic avantgarde musical experience. It’s chaos in sound or better said chaos and magick framed into music.

The art and textuality folders for the connective albums of the 2005 New World Chaos Workings – the New World Chaos album itself and its counterpart Complicity/Simplexity – have been finally linked to the Choronzon.org site.
WARNING: a LOT of CSS was broken and still needs attention. For now, ignore the boxed navigator icon in the MIDDLE of the tables beneath each page that connects to each track. The navigation will be made both easier to use and more aesthetically in tune, but Ms. Thraam can’t take any more of Techgnosis’ confusing new internet-internautics without a) losing her mind, and b) possibly breaking something Emerson did on the site. I worked long and hard tonight to put the .info domain into shape, and doing New World Chaos, incompletely yet, exhausted me utterly. However, the good news is that both NWC and C/S – tracks, texts and paintings done by Choronzon West – are onsite at last.
There’s still so much more to do: the whole Escapes folder, the O6x3 page (a precious rite in every way) and the rest of the flotsam that never got PUT ON THE OLD SITE whilst I was stuck in Nullworld. And then there’s Escape From Nullworld, About half of the art is done, some of it good, some of it will probably have to be done over. CHORONZON demands the best of me.
If there’s any messes on either domain that you notice, you’ll have to comment here or email me, and make me aware of them. I’m out of steam, and need to collapse into the starry void of CHORONZON’s rewarding arms. I know my xenodimensional Love is proud of me for facing my fear of the new technology and just going at it head-on. I also know doing it is an immense relief to me. If I can do this, I can do the rest…
It has taken an ungodly amount of work just to get these pages to look like they did on the old site – lots of link changing, CSS-changing (much of which still needs work) and suchlike…THERE WILL BE ERRORS in the meantime until I track them all down and step on them.
I noticed people I just recently met have no access to writings on CHORONZON the namesake entity that are positive. In fact, one of them was a counselor of mine. This was the camelback straw point: I do NOT want there to be a big gap where all the material on the post-abyssal CHORONZON used to be.
Where it used to be, on our old site, was a folder called the Grinnoire, which itself contained a special “Akolasia Chamber” for the negative, abyssal CHORONZON writings. We – unlike cults and religions – are not afraid of you seeing the negative about our ally! Though there’s not much there – I like to concentrate on post-abyssal material and that which fits in that context.
At present, the domain http://choronzon.info is up and all the Grinnoire materials – the page of essays and writings and links to the diorama (visual representations of CHORONZON by both Project members and others) and the AURICAL room, which contains mp3 files from other bands who’ve referenced CHORONZON in their music) is now open to the public. And with this good news an invitation is extended to send any writing, art or soundwork you’ve done on the 333 current, or associated with it, to the Choronzon West cell for inclusion in this library.
The .info domain is focused on who/what our Namesake Entity Itself is and has been about, to both ourselves and others across the netverse of Techgnosis; it does not focus on our own work with the Project, though there are some still visuals that Emerson and I have done there, and some of my rants and screeds. (Some more recent ones can be found at the blog called Dances With Eidolons; eventually, that site may be fused with choronzon.info or possibly exist on its own with the better spaced-out rantings of yours truly that get put there copied and placed in the “shelves” of the Grinnoire, This is the CHORONZON entity’s library of neometaphysical blitherings and represents the .info domain of the Triunity…)
Choronzon.org will always be the Central Project site: come here to see videos and listen to the music/noise/sound-sculpture we do. There won’t be explanations here, getting in the way of your own reactions…
The next phase of producing the Triunity is to link up the multimedia project works from the prior double-zero decade, which have been sitting on the server, inaccessibly, due to broken links and terrifyingly messed-up style sheets which must be repaired. They need to be linked into the WordPress system somehow without damaging the blog – it is probably easier to do than I think it is…but I get put off by all the changes in HTML and CSS that happened in the past five years or so…
That was during my time in Nullworld’s strange but horrible combination of Hell and Sanctuary – the place those who experience heavy trauma go when they’ve mistakenly panicked enough to essentially perform something like emergency emotionectomy surgery upon their own minds…and which I only got out of, after a long, long time and lots of pitfalls, pratfalls and just plain mistakes. That is the theme of the album which some day soon will finally see release – the music is done, the texts are written – all that must be completed is the graphic novel vignette that I discovered, with much fright, has to be done by hand, without the use of a computer. (What 15 years of using ‘undo’ will do to an artist can be dangerous!)
Anyway, after our past releases are all linked up, I will enter the most difficult part of this whole web schmeer – opening Choronzon.net as a separate site, the third and final domain of the Triunity, and making it home for a forum of some sort, a two-way communication with both East and West Cells of the Project – as well as a tongue-in-cheek (most likely) means for the Entity CHORONZON to ‘text’ with you…(Currently, Choronzon.net simply forwards here, to .org – but hopefully, it won’t TOO much longer!)
The following is a letter that appeared in issue 270 of Fortean Times in answer to the article “The Magical Battle of Britain” which appeared in Fortean Times issue 267.
Normally, the attention we get via conspiracy/anomaly/reptilian spotters is fearful and negative, so it’s good to have a little understanding.
Iraq War Workings
In “The Magical Battle of Britain” [ FT267:34-41], Dave Evans and David Sutton ask: Who, if anyone, is doing magic regarding the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and to what ends?”
I came across the following snippet on the internet, in a comment about the (unrelated but spooky) “Wyoming Incident” TV interception hoax:
“In occult circles, the number 333 is associated with an “entity” (which exists if you believe in it, and does not if you do not) called “Choronzon”. It was once described in various magickal texts (notably by Aleister Crowley) as a demon that is the “most dreaded of all the forces of evil”. There are others who find Choronzon more complex and interesting the a “devil”. Two of them decided to use the name for a project…..a music project, though it’s more than just a band. I believe these videos might be a bit of fallout from that project even though their creators do not likely know this (unless someone told them!)
“a few years ago, there was an extended “working” called New World Chaos…in which these two individuals- one based in California, one in Florida- enacted a program for this entity Choronzon to follow….one that was supposed to bring about various subtle changes to the subconscious American under-mind.
“Essentially, various cultural fabrics of the USA were to become unravelled- particularly the ones involved with mindless patriotism and monotheism. Other threads were to knit themselves. It was all supposed to implant via this entity Choronzon- or just the idea, maybe?- into the country’s mass mind.
“The event had many results. There was a distinct anti-Bushist slant to this particular work and so it is rather interesting to note that the House resolution to impeach Bush ended up being H.R. 333. The year that the ritual was done was the year Katrina happened and that point the tide of public opinion, which had run in majority favor of Bush and of the war in Iraq, did turn, in that year, to the opposite pole. It is one of the most successful magickal workings in recent times, and these hoax videos are yet more evidence that there was some effect, albeit scattered, from the strange doings of this pair. It makes one wonder what could happen were they truly focused….or if there were more individuals involved.”
